Wish Tower Friends Logo
A badge logo for a local community project. The building is a martello tower in Eastbourne, once used as a look out and gun position. Now it's a cool venue for events and tours. The logo needed to have a progressive community feel to it, as well as describe both the building and its new use.
The Wish Tower in my home town of Eastbourne is now looked after by a community project.
I wanted to stylise both the plan and section of the building into one shape (so it was both familiar and descriptive), help it stand proud with shadow, and give a strong sense of the events and activities it will now be used for, with a beam of light coming from inside.
